I'll be sharing the features of the bag I own, which works for other bags on the retail market too. Now since mine was preloved, I'm very proud that I chose one that was still in amazing condition. Preloved bags tend to show a little wear and tear especially around the edges or handles but that didn't bother me much because everything else felt brand-new. 

Now on the outside, the bag has a structured look which is ideal for both work and outside work for me. My bag's fabric is Monogram Giant Canvas but you can also get the bag in Monogram Empreinte Leather OR Bicolor Monogram Empreinte Leather. In my opinion, the monogram giant canvas gives the bag a modern look while still maintaining the classic Louis Vuitton vibe. 

My favourite bit is how the sides and handles have the monogram reverse pattern which makes the bag pop for me and I can wear it on either side depending on my mood. The mini monogram on the handles against the giant monogram on the bag’s body looks absolutely divine!

It has two top handles that are sturdy and comfortable to hold plus you get two added shoulder straps to throw it over your shoulder if you're travelling or walking long distance. The interior is red colored which is a cool contrast. Inside, there's a flat zipped pocket and two smaller pockets where I keep smaller essentials like my keys or a lipstick/scrunchie/ lip balm etc. The hardware is gold-toned. Mine had slight scratches, but nothing big that takes away from its beauty.

The OnTheGo bag is available in four different sizes depending on your use. I'm not a minimalist and I stash quite a lot of things in my bag when I go to work so I chose the GM size which is pretty big (see below) with a 28cm shoulder drop. My bag easily fits my laptop, water bottle, a planner, plus wallet, sunglasses, and keys with space to spare. Even though it's large, it's not very heavy or awkward to carry thanks to the structured design.

The BB is a newer petite micro bag which fits just a phone. The PM is slightly bigger, fitting a phone, a wallet, lipstick, and keys. The MM and GM are relatively bigger and more practical for everyday use.

Quality & Durability of Louis Vuitton OnTheGo

I always wondered if the OnTheGo was actually as durable as people claimed. Now that I own one, I can confidently say that it's built to last. The canvas material is tough yet lightweight (it might soften with years of use but mine is still sturdy despite being second-hand). The stitching is pretty immaculate too. 

I've seen that the bag can handle a lot– from my work essentials, to travelling gear, and even impromptu shopping hauls— and it holds its shape beautifully. 

Price of Louis Vuitton OnTheGo Tote Bag 

Here's the thing. A brand new Louis Vuitton OnTheGo is a splurge for sure, ranging from $3100 to $4200 depending on the size and fabric you choose. If you're not into buying pre-loved and can afford a bag this expensive, I'd say go for it. But personally, I feel like I saved myself several hundred dollars by buying pre-loved while still getting a bag in excellent condition.
